Below is a collage that summarizes my day at work.
THE LAZY WORKERS 😀
So, after arriving to work this morning to finish up a furnace installation, I noticed a couple of new guys were there. They slept all day, except when i would ask them for help. Then they would actually yell at me. I took a couple pictures of them.
This is Chuck, he is pretty laid back and calm.
And this is Bob. Bob has an attitude and does not work well with others. Don't be like Bob. 😁

LUNCH AT THE FLOODED MISSISSIPPI
At lunch I went to Grafton for pizza. The river is a little flooded right now. So I thought, what a great place to eat! I was able to sit right at the river and enjoy my pizza. The river was so close the ground I was on was saturated with water.
A look South down the river, towards St. Louis.
And a look to the North, toward our Canadian neighbors.
INTO THE BELLY OF THE BEAST
After lunch I found myself with the boss man heading down to the local harbor to replace a bad raw water pump circuit board on a fifty foot yacht. Here is a quick picture I got of this beauty.
The main circuit board that controls their air conditioning had burned up and it was Laird Conditioning to the rescue. This repair required us to crawl down into the bilge/engine compartment of the ship.
Here's a view of the access hatch.
Now a view from the inside.(Looking back toward the entry hatch.)
While our circuit board was in this room, it also housed the "power makers" of the ship. Two diesel powered Volvo Penta marine engines.
After a little bilge compartment sight seeing we got to work repairing the A/C system. We replaced the board and fired it up. They were good to go, as the system was now functioning as designed. It was a board similar to this one. (Sorry, forgot to take a picture of the actual board.)

Not too bad. Busy as can be! That's for sure. Works been hectic. And Evans school tires him out, so he sleeps pretty good. I completed all my classes and received my HVACR technician certification. Pretty happy about that. My girlfriend got a good job in the medical field too. How are yous doing? And did you decide on where to keep Evans present he got you. I promised him I'd ask. I hope all is well, and I'll be seeing you around.
Evan's gift is displayed proudly in our living room. My wife likes it too so I wasn't allowed to bring it to work. Great news all round the job front. We've all been pretty flat out at work too. Must be just that time of year. What is a HVACR certification? Guessing HV = High Voltage?
HVACR=heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration. If it makes something cold...from a house to a walk in freezer and everything in between we repair, diagnose and or install all of it. Its pretty fun. I get to travel around a little and never work in the same place for long. Plus i make most all of our custom sheet metal. So i get to be creative and be challenged. But.... We do mess with 230V three phase systems every now and then. It's probably enough to a blue whale... Seriously. So you were kinda right. 😀

I just seen that you delagated some SP to me and wanted to stop by to say thanks. This new RC system Steemit incorporated has put a damper on things. I hope the new system don't run off too many redfish / newbies.

Im sorry I can't do more.... But i do have a plan to try to help you some more.
Your delgation is certainly appreciated but Please focus your help on another that may need it. There are so many redfish with 15 sp that are likely getting frustrated with this site because of the new RC system and lack of account use they have. I think this RC system was a big blunder by the Steem team.
I have a steady stream of rewards coming in so my RC issues were / are only a short temporary issue.
I thank you for the help but there are others that need it more. I have 250 SP which allows for allot of comments. I just need to allow it to regenerate a little and I have a steady influx of rewards coming that also help regeneration of RC. Please focus that help on someone else. Remove the delagation when-ever you see fit to do so. I wasn't expecting to run into much more RC issues after today even before your delagations.
And unfortunately, i believe it is already discouraging a few. Mainly ive noticed a lot of my friends not able to post. They have hit me up in discord. When i explain the reason why they are having a hard time now, they are heart broken and discouraged
Steem went too far into the pay to play direction. It will just scare people away. I understand Steemit needs investors but it also needs users as without them it doesn't matter what system they implement. No users = no steemit.

On another note, i am trying to help a friend on here. He believes he is going blind in his right eye and wants to go to the doctor, but can't afford to. I promised to pay for him to go(its only 27 dollars) ....but i forgot how long it takes for me to turn US Dollars into crypto. I have about 19 in my account now. So i ask, do you have any steem or sbd you can spare. I will repay you as soon as my money hits my ether wallet.(with interest) I hate asking, but this guy is a great person and deserves help. If you can't or are just unwilling to, it is okay. I won't be upset and i promise i understand. But i will repay you with interest, i hope you can believe me when i say this. Here is proof im just waiting for it to be converted.

I wouldn't dream of charging interest. I actually would donate if I could. Sadly a loan for 5 is about as good as I can do at the moment. Would that help a little?

I know a few HVAC guys, some do industrial-type installation and repair and it can be brutal. The ones who fix home a/c's are always sure of a warm welcome! (Okay, that was a joke, but seriously, people are so happy to see them!)
Yeah, we don't do industrial applications. Just residential and commercial. But it can be some very demanding work. But my cousin is my boss, and he's a great friend and boss. Its really awesome. Thanks for stopping by my dear friend!

Nice. New challenges at work are never a bad thing. Some days I feel like that's what I need in this gig.
