STREET AND DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY "DAWN IN THE PUBLIC MARKET"
Hi Steemit community, today I want to show you the other side of the Public Market, in this case, the Public Market of Barranquilla in Colombia.
We have all seen on some occasion the incredible images of the public markets of many places in the world. We have seen photographs of market places in India, Istanbul (Turkey), Morocco, Brazil, China, and public markets in Manhattan in the United States of America. Places full of movement and color, and usually images with something in common, most of them show human activity during the day.
But the activity in the market almost does not stop, and very early in the morning the human activity is almost as intense as in the day. Today I want, through my photographs, to transport you to the busy world of the public market and that you can, together with me, witness how the public market wakes up when everyone is asleep.
3:00 am, arriving at the historic Downtown of Barranquilla, where the Public Market of the city is located.

The light of day arrives at the market.

I suppose that the market opens at such early hours, if not that it never leaves the activity because the means by which the merchandise is transported moves at night, Trucks, Vans, etc.
It is a lifestyle of these people, it is not just a job, practically their sales colleagues become their closest, or even their relatives. I suppose you are close to that place, why do you take those pictures there?

We were a group of photographers interested in showing what happens in the market when everyone sleeps. And no, these are not the only photos I made, I took many more.
And no, I do not live very close to that place, a friend picked me up on his motorcycle around 2:30 in the morning.
Thank you for showing us Colombia's public market and taking us for a walk through all the variety of fish, vegetables and other types of vegetables that you have in this great market. Everyone gets up early so when we arrive to buy we can find everything ready. The wholesalers sell to them very early and then we buy from these markets. @juancarlos1175 que bonitas las fotos hermano así es cuando uno va a trabajar al mercado a esa hora es que se empieza a trabajar yo que trabaje en eso es así pero acá en Venezuela hay mucha delincuencia en los mercados municipales aquí esto se convirtió una locura pero que bonito se ve el mercado de Colombia muy hermosas las fotos un saludo de acá de Venezuela@neymarth10

Your photos can tell stories. By looking at your photos, i could felt the noise, the activities and the surrounding atmosphere. Now my mind like a timelapse video, the flow start from your first photo until the last. It was amazing. Did you try to consider video it using timelapse as well? I am sure it must be amazing.
