Picture Stories #277 - Lemon Tree
I wasn't aware that a lemon tree looked so beautiful! While lemon is a common fruit that is used for a variety of things, I hadn't encountered a lemon tree before, or maybe I had never paid attention to its existence. But during a visit to a botanical garden where we got to see several interesting varieties of plants and trees, I noticed this beautifully elegant tree, and what catches my attention apart from the lovely fresh fruit is the uniquely patterned leaves as well as the shoots of the tree.
Lemon is one of the most popular citrus fruits, and it has several beneficial features including the fact that its loaded with vitamins and has a low caloric value too.
Who doesn't enjoy a nice glass of sweet, chilled and tasty lemon juice!
