Hi eSteem Lovers.

Do you know this tree? I often see it but often also I do not care about it. But for a moment I saw this tree has a very large trunk, from the bottom to each of the highest branches, this tree has a lot of fruit. It is said the fruit of this tree is very preferred by monkeys. But now, I will not tell you about how this tree growth and how the monkey likes its fruit.

Why am I interested in this tree? Honestly, some time ago I had read that this tree is very useful to hold riverbank abrasion, easy to grow, and of course, this tree has a large trunk. So I tried to get some pictures of this tree and present the trunk and fruit of it. Well, let's discuss a little deeper here then this tree not just a picture post. Here an interesting discussion that I think I can make as something new about this tree including the philosophy of life.

This tree is big, strong and has fruit as well as the other trees that have fruit, but there are differences between this tree and other trees. What is that ? Generally, the other trees grow from seeds and we can touch and see it by our eyes, but the fruit of this tree has seeds that are barely visible if we don't pay attention.

There is a story related to the seeds of the fruit of this tree where a child gets an important lesson about life from a wise father. When children ask "how could God create this universe from something that does not exist and becomes vast. Maybe humans cannot think of it". Providing it with long explanation is still difficult for children his age, if you have to describe how the universe was formed, the process of tree growth, where the seawater comes from, why the wind is not visible and others. A wise father certainly cannot decipher it by logic only.

Then the wise father makes the fruit of this tree as an illustration as well as answers to all questions of the child. The father takes the fruit from this tree and asks the child to open it while asking about what he saw. When the child replies that he sees only small seeds, at that moment the father asks the child to break the seeds are very small and ask again about what he saw.

Shortly, the child answers all the seeds are no longer visible now (after being broken down). The wise father gave the right answer by saying that seeds have been broken down and are no longer visible, this tree grows and develops to become large and has fruit. The process of this world from nothing to exist, not all can be explained logically. Who would have thought from the barely visible seeds and then we know the fact about this tree has a height and preferred fruit.

And did you know the name of this tree ? Yups, this is the Fig Tree or Fig Tree Cluster in English, with the Latin name is Ficus. So I call the lesson from it is Ficusmology.

So, what is the life lesson about the story above?

Well, I only catch the illustration above is : First, something very large, can be created from very small thing or invisible to us. Second, not only because we think something does not exist, and means that it does not exist, our inability as humans to express it is part of the limitations of our senses, in other languages is the limitations of the dimensions we are now and in the future.
Third, to become a successful and large human being, you must pay attention to the smallest things and whatever you start, then start from the smallest things first.

At least for this last point, I have tried to start it. Every object of photography that I get, I am grateful, I meditate and try to give a little benefit with positive writing to accompany the photography and finally share it to you and get much benefit me personally and others.

Conclusion:

  1. This tree is a dynamic philosophy of human life and someone who values the process.
  2. Start the positive thing with the smallest action then you will do something big and phenomenal. Don't ask too many questions, just do it.
  3. As a good person is someone who is helpful to others, so the lessons taught by this tree.
