Traditional Newari (Nepali) Food

I am a food lover and yesterday I went to nearby Newari Restaurant to taste some traditional food of theirs. The Newari caste people are the oldest inhabitant of the Kathmandu valley, the capital of Nepal. They have vast culture and tradition. And when it comes to food, they are the by far best available in our whole country Nepal. This one is commonly called as Khaja Set. In their local language, it is popularly known as Samay Baji. This one is a popular dish but they have vast other varieties of food with different ingredients and different taste. These foods are typically prepared in their social and religious ceremony but due to their popularity and distinct taste, they are now been served in many restaurants around the country. And each food have their own mythology regarding their culture.
