Fungus, Flowers and Furries.. oh my

We have gotten a ton of rain this year and due to that, fungi is everywhere.. and I love it. Normally the warm weather and lack of moisture make it not the ideal location for those little mushroom friends, so I’ve been trying to get as many photos as possible.

I have a love for mushrooms, something about their delicate beauty that goes unseen so often.. such details that make them unique. I mean flowers are stunning, and everyone knows it.. but they are obviously beautiful, mushrooms are more of a hidden gem to me.. and I guess that’s what makes them special in my eyes.

So, since it’s #fungifriday I decided to share a few recent shots and old favorites of fungi with some beautiful spring wildflowers and some furry friends as well. (Yes, I know horses don’t have fur.. but just go with it.)

Yes, I ran out of photos of “furries” (no zoom makes it hard to capture them.. and they don’t let me get as close as the fungi does 😜). So instead, I’ll leave you with some flowers and love and stuff.. cause that is pretty cute too.. and this is one of my favorite shots..
