Few days ago Steem price dropped below seventy cents and some people got really upset. Singing their usual song of this doesn’t pay, I leave. My response instead of trying to convince them to stay fine, get the f away and never come back! Steem will be fine without you. If you can’t see the potential of this place with your greedy, drunken eyes, we don’t need you to stay.

Steem is morphing, changing and growing all the time with different apps and projects despite the price dropping. Not going to name them, you should have a look around the chain yourself. Of course it doesn’t feel great to see your vote shrinking or maybe not even being worth anything at the moment in some cases, but keep in mind that everyone is affected the same way you are. People mostly complaining about the price are not really invested in Steem or see past the short term profits, or what’s happening with the crypto market in general. It is what it is.

I want to see more of people who are invested, who continuously keep going, posting, powering up, curating, engaging, creating and using different apps built on Steem blockchain instead of other centralized stuff out there. I want to see people who are excited about hard fork coming on 25th of September that hopefully will bring a lot of positive changes and shake things up.

While some things really suck with the current system, I think we all should remain more optimistic. Elon Musk in his recent interview said and I am paraphrasing I much rather be optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right in the end. It fits Steem nicely. It fits life nicely too. Outcomes are almost never certain. However, we certainly can control the way we view systems and the world around us.

Look at this glorious residence up on the treetop!

I appreciate all of you reading and following my ramblings and your continuous, restless support. I don’t take any of it for granted and it means a lot to me. Thank you so, so much! ♡

Yeah it's refreshing to hear what I've been thinking in my mind for a while. The only problem is if the opposing viewpoint is too widespread. Doesn't seem like it though :)

I appreciate all of you reading and following my ramblings and your continuous, restless support.

So maaaaany words.... phew ;)

I much rather be optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right in the end.

Smart people know how it all ends. They usually don't have overly fulfilling lives nor do they tend to move much with the little bit of life they have been granted. I wonder how they feel at the very end, is death a relief?

Not as maaaany as you do ;) Not sure what you meant though, lol

Well unless you get to ask them right before it happens, we will never know. Death as a relief and life as a burden? Meh, I am not a believer that life should necessarily be so fucking hard you can't ever rest up or have it easy from time to time at least.

Hi m31. I am more than happy to see the greedy ones go. They can't see it transforming before their eyes then let them go and good riddance.

Hi to you too steve..err cryptoandcoffee! Ahaha!

Good riddance indeed :)

lol. I had just read his post and don't know why I decided to comment on your post first. One of those days I suppose.

Ahaha. We all have those ^^'

Someone's got quite the penthouse up top in that last photo. I bet the view's pretty nice up there!

On the bright side, maybe those accounts that just post a single plagiarized image off of Google search will realize they're not getting rich quick and leave. There's still good content out there, though it's getting a little harder to find with so many people on hiatus.

Ahaha! Yeah, that's what I thought too! Pretty nice spot.

Cheers to plagiarizers leaving hopefully.

When it comes to content, it has changed a lot with different posting forms out there via apps like steepshot or dlive, dlike and others. Steem is not just long format blogging platform anymore. Some people prefer shorter posts and some prefer longer posts. As someone who has been used to looking for deepdive quality posts myself, I had to really adjust as well.

I am more than excited about the hard fork and hope it will bring changes we are expecting. This is true that many are jumping saying what to do and over confused when the price is low. The platform is giving more than some coins what we miss to count. Networks, support one another, potentiality to work with communities and get hired by projects outside of steemit. I think it is good time to start and invest. And I love to power up and be optimistic.

It will be fun to observe how it will pan out. Counting days till fork, because this place really needs a good shake up :)

And you are absolutely right about the platform. It is what I fell in love with in the first place. Learning about crypto and blockchain on top.

Steem on and power up! ^^

@m31 I had always been a realist till I started steeming. Never been so optimistic of a project succeeding before. Those who leave out of greed will eventually regret their actions

Many people actually have powered their stake or most of it. I think what they don't realize though, that soon it might be a lot harder to get it back to where it was with a lot more competition out there, more people coming in who create really outstanding, original content.

Those who have powered down will definitely regret it, but maybe it is the lesson they have to learn in life.

I just finished watching the full 2 and a half hour interview (thank you for mentioning it the other day). It was highly enjoyable getting to see Elon in that way...

As for Steemit and the price of Steem etc... Well, I've never been as excited about my blogging activity as I am now. And with prices being this low, I'm considering buying some Steem too. Unfortunately with the exchange rate, even just 100USD is quite a lot for me here in Brazil.

I must ask... What are some of your favourite Steemit apps? I mostly only use steemit.com for everything, and steemlookup for curation. And steemworld/Ginabot to keep track of my account.

I appreciate all of you reading and following my ramblings and your continuous, restless support. I don’t take any of it for granted and it means a lot to me. Thank you so, so much! ♡

Your posts add value to my life, so thank you.

'Hope the weather has improved since the other day, back to some autumn sunshine..(?)

Yeah, it seemed more relaxed conversation friends would have while having couple of drinks. It reminded me of my conversations I sometimes have with my friends :)

My blogging activity has not changed much, maybe gone up a little.

I really like what dlive is doing and I see a lot of potential there. They already are bringing in people from platforms such as Twitch and Youtube. They don't even know what Steem is, but they appreciate the idea of no censorship and decentralization.

Steempress also brings a lot of people. Whole different bunch though :)

I use Ginabot, steemworld too and steemd.com, steemreports.com

Aww <3 Thank you!

Weather has gone a lot more stormy and rainy, but I don't mind actually.

I really liked that Elon quote too. The interview was good.

I think his views have changed a lot since few years ago. Also when Joe asked when will it be too late about the AI. I think he actually thinks it is already too late.

Amazing nature photography...so detailed, so relaxing, with the color, really really gorgeous work my friend m31

Thank you :)
