Hope you all are very happy and enjoying your steemit life!
It's a saying in our state that We Bengalis enjoy 13 festivals in 12 months! And believe me, it's true!
Not long ago, we have celebrated our biggest festival Durga puja, and another great festival has arrived, it's DIWALI, the festival of lights, fireworks and Worship of Goddess Kali!
Yesterday, I went to visit a pandel of Goddess Kali with my friends.. It was a very nice and unique pandel and as you can see the artists have tried their best to make it very much attractive.
In the first picture, you can see the Goddess Kali statue.
Maa Kali or Goddess Kali (here in India, we call our goddesses mother or maa) is the Goddess of death, time and doomsday.
Kali also represents feminine energy, creativity and fertility. In the above statue, the artist has represented the Goddess in a different yet very unique view.
The other pictures were of the pandel and the artifacts that were used to decorate the pandel.
We very much enjoyed the day not only by visiting pandels, but also by using fire crackers and decorating our house with LED chains!

We in here celebrate all the festivals, but Durga puja is the most shouted celebration here. I think thats why u have heard like this... 😉
