These guys are horrible. I used to think that magpies were bad because I once saw one attack a little rabbit. I know nature needs to take its course, but still it was not a nice sight.
Yesterday however there was a war going on between your bird and a magpie. Actually a number of those birds. We tried to scare them away but they returned. Didn't pay much attention to it after that. I have more stuff to do in a day :)
Today we found a dead magpie in the corner of the backyard, hidden behind a bucket. Poor thing.
When the attacker gets attacked it still feels wrong.

Standard settings. The contrast and lighting were altered slightly with the standard software that comes with the phone. I love this camera.
