The Fluvial Park of Settimo Torinese - VENTO Bike Lane #2 [ENG/ITA]
Even in October, when temperatures are still mild like during these last days, it is a great pleasure to spend some hours in the Fluvial Park of Settimo Torinese. We can relax on a bench and read a good book or meditate in absolute peace.
This park contains many small bridges on tiny rivers and lakes. There we can find turtles of various dimensions and some river fishes too.
You can follow many paths, short or long ones and, for those willing to try, it is possible to arrive at the beginning of the climb to Superga Hill (approximately 7 km).
When sunset is approaching, there is bigger runners and bikers affluence in the park but we never reach the noisy levels of most of the other city parks.
I am curious to check if during winter will be possible to go to this park, despite rain and cold weather.

Persino in Ottobre, quando la temperatura è ancora mite come in questi giorni, è molto piacevole trascorrere qualche ora nel Parco Fluviale di Settimo Torinese. Possiamo trovare tranquillità su una delle panchine a nostra disposizione e leggere un libro o meditare in assoluta pace.
Il Parco è contraddistinto da parecchi ponti su piccoli corsi d'acqua nei quali è possibile notare tartarughe di varie dimensioni ed alcune specie di pesci di acqua dolce.
Esistono diversi percorsi che si possono seguire, da quelli corti ai più lunghi e, volendo impegnarsi un pò, è anche possibile arrivare fino alla base della salita per Superga (circa 7 km).
Nelle ore più vicine al tramonto si nota un aumento dell'affluenza di biker e runners ma non si arriva mai all'affollamento vero e proprio (e conseguente frastuono) dei maggiori parchi cittadini.
Sono curioso di sperimentare fino a quando sia possibile praticare questo parco, andando sempre più verso l'inverno. Certamente dipenderà molto dalle condizioni atmosferiche (soprattutto dalle precipitazioni).
