Catching Up with Dear Friends 2!

There comes a time when our busy lives align for a brief moment and in some way we are all in the same place or relatively close by. An opportunity such as this does not come all too often and it’s important to seize the moment. I get a feeling of excitement, catching up after so long is often filled with surprises.
Even though many of us will post on social media or occasionally chat, a face to face meet is one of the best ways to bond with good friends after a long period. Though social media and the evolving requirements of society are constantly giving us tools to keep in touch and stay connected, it seems that our lives also become that much busier. The tools we have today try to fill the void that is being created and its important to remember that the good friends that good friends that stay with us for life are hard to come by. I try to meet my comrades by making time when possible, we all make the effort and despite how time is valuable to each of us, we are happy to spend some precious moments with one another.

The evening would be filled with laughter, smiles and some drink to accompany the evening. Though a formal setting or a meetup in a restaurant would have been nice, it’s great to gather round a host’s place and enjoy an intimate and cosy catch up. Without the fuss and noise outside, it’s great to be around people we cherish the most.
