Therapy of the Body and Mind 2!

It doesn’t have to be in a spa, in fact some of the more relaxing moments can be felt at the comfort of one’s home. But when while going away the opportunity is simply too good to miss for the little extras that might not be possible in a normal setting. A rose filled bath with salts, ambient music and candles to illuminate the darkness. The aromatic scents that filled the air were another medium of therapy as I soaked my body in the warm flowing water of the baths.

I used this time to relax and do away with the complicate thoughts. In this moment, there was only simplicity. No problems, no tension and nothing else to disrupt this moment of peace. I sometimes practice a form of meditation that helps me collect my thoughts and align the disarray that might have occurred between my mind and body. The connection strengthens and I feel the time spent healing is well worth it as I approach the next adventure.
