Is it a duck... or a dog? The Newfoundland breed has a water resistant coat and webbed feet. This dog was originally bred to help haul nets for fishermen and rescuing people at risk of drowning.
Best dogs ever. Yours looks just like my Lucy dog. I picked her up as pup deep in the Ozark mountains where somebody had dropped her and two of her siblings off. They weren't much bigger than my two hands put together. Coyote food for sure if I hadn't found them. I managed to find homes for the siblings, but Lucy stayed with me. Hard to believe that was eight years ago. Time flys!
