Moraea sisyrinchium 🌷
This plant is called in Hebrew The Afternoon Iris because all of its' flowers are closed in the morning hours until they are all open at once in the afternoon.
The plant usually has up to three green leaves, gutter, narrow and long.
The flowers bloom every day once and towards evening it closes.
It is the most common Iris in Israel, flowering in February, March, and April.
