Weekend MotorTrip 🛵 - The Hermon Stream & Fort Nimrod 🏔️🏰
After we left Safed, our second stop was at the foot of Mount Hermon, where you could walk down an orderly path with stone steps to a small pool with two terraced waterfalls, and a bridge to cross in between.
From this point, we could also see Nimrod Fortress which is the largest fortress remaining from medieval times in Israel.
The location of the fortress, built at a height of 760 meters, surrounded by steep cliffs, dominated one of the most strategic points on the road that led from the Hula Valley and the Golan towards Syria.
And again, 2 B continued 😉
