My Wednesday Walk
Hi friends! Well this time of year for us in Michigan, winter is getting a bit long in the tooth! I absolutely hate it now.
This flower looks to be outlined in diamonds!
So I had to take an abbreviated walk...yet I like to thank @tattoodjay for hosting this tag! I managed to get a few clicks in anyways.
Of course the windshield had a good sized layer of ice on it!!
I cant help but to stop and get pics of some of the sights!
Ben has an easy fix, and a good way of walking on slippery ice!
He says they are game changers!
They are easy on and easy off!
Everthing outdoors had a thick coating of ice. We lost power for a minute or so! Was so happy when it came back on!
nature is brutal! The poor bush is all bent down from the weight of the ice!

I hear you! I'm getting increasingly tired of winter, even here in the somewhat milder Pacific Northwest... the latest round of ice and snow has pretty much been enough! As of right now, Interstate 90 east through Snoqualmie Pass is closed for a second day, after they got about 80" of snow in three days! I only say that to feel better about the paltry 9" we had down here at sea level.
Like your photos... it's very pretty, but I'm tired of it. Ready to see more green again...

What a coooolllld walk😤, i like the outlined diamond leaves one 😊 and really nice "gear" you have for your feet. I don't think I can live and walk like you if i were there though I like to touch everything in your pictures😊
Are you kidding me... You will almost freeze, but we here in Slovenia are starting to take our T-shirts out of the closet because we are having such warm and sunny weather with afternoon temperatures about 10°C (50°F) if I calculated correctly. I think this weather is going to extremes, but I must say I see you are well prepared for everything. ☺ You will see-only a moment, and another sunny summer will come, so you will be able to take a ride on the lake, and fire up the BBQ. 😇
