A Walk Through the Lava (cooled of course) :)

These are from a couple years ago when I first moved to Central Oregon. This is a little paved trail through the lava bed at Dee Wright observatory.

A shot of the trail as it winds through the lava rock.


A couple views looking south of the North and Middle Sister.


Looking north, Mt Washington center left and Mt Jefferson in the distance.


The far left side of the picture here shows Belknap Crater (just above the large snow field). Along with Washington and Jefferson again.


A couple more shots of the North Sister framed by the lava field.
