Las Vegas Sunset

Took these from the Red Rock Hotel on the far west side of Las Vegas. Went hiking the next day in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area which is in the far mountains shown in the pictures. Will post more about that drive and hike later. :)

    Another couple of great photos @oldmans resteemed and upvoted. I haven't been to the outskirts of Vegas in 40 years. Good to see it is still as beautiful as ever.

    We were trying to do a little different Vegas trip. Stayed off the strip. Went to Red Rocks, Hoover Dam and drove the North Shore Road to the Valley of Fire. And of course our view from the hotel every night was awesome! :)

    Last time I was there was in 1979 and the desert was totally amazing. Glad you had a good trip and got such great photos.
