That looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Those that lived there must have really gotten to enjoy nature and tranquility of it all. Can only imagine the view from that tower overlooking everything.
Yes, it does look that way! Although in reality the lively town is less than 10 minutes walk from the monastery. Which makes it easy for the tourists to find their way to it from Budva – I don’t think my parents would have made it there if they had to climb real mountains for hours! :D
Hehe, perhaps back when it was made they really where remote!
Very nice.. it looks like am watching movie !!
Thank you for sharing this post..
God bless

Some nice memories !
This is good post of architectural photography.
Bless you.
I can see a view of the town a bit. I like the color of the monastery. I bet it is whiter when the sun strikes it. Were there monks there? Were you allowed to go inside? I do not know if you have come across @steemitworldmap and used it?
Yes, there were a couple of monks and priests there. Surprisingly we were free to roam inside. It felt like they were very used to the presence of tourists there. We even attended a small service done by a priest and his younger assistant.
Yes, I know of @steemitworldmap. I was actually considering using it for this post (and for a more recent one, about my trip to Gothenburg). I guess I’ll do it now, thank you for the advice!
Do you have to pay them when you go there?
No problem. I will be readi g about Gothenburg.
Congratulations, Your Post Has Been Added To The Steemit Worldmap!
