4 Seasons in the Sky!
Nice and summery? Today I will show you 4 seasons in one day!
What started out as a cloudy day rapidly changed into a sham Summer day and quickly reverted back to an Autumn day, and later to a colder Winter day.
Come walk with me through the sky today, and let's watch the heavenly show!
All of a sudden, cloudy and windy!
Birds heading South. A sign that water is on it's way!
This is what it looked like early this morning!
Later on the winds really came to town!
Another flock of birds crossing over!
You can see the pregnant clouds starting to gather!

And finally, in-between the clouds, I could get some late sun!
Being close to the apple fields, the weather here has a Mediterranean climate. No rain in Summer and as it rains here in Winter, we had to make some changes to our lifestyle. As we come from up North, where it rains in Summer you can imagine that we had to acclimatize in order to fit in. Not easy, as the Winter is also wet and consequently much colder over here. But we are here now for ten months and slowly but steadily we are making progress.

Looking at the trees, snow doesn’t belong to one of the seasons there!

Thank you my friend, we had a taste of the wet winter when we arrived here and at the time we stayed in a moldy and dankly little cottage on a farm. Of course with mud everywhere,
Now it's a bit different and let's hope that I can learn the weather patterns very quickly.

I have never feared change, in fact I welcome it and we look forward to experiencing the vagaries of the weather.

Hahaha I lived up north all of my life JJ. Occasional visits down here for short periods, but now in an extended period, it is a horse of a different color.
But I suppose that we will survive.

It must but quite a change for you but trust me from experience we do adapt and survive to the different climates blessings
Thank you JJ and I am not complaining, it's just an issue to study the weather patterns all over again.
We are told that in a couple of years time, it will be hotter here by at least 4 degrees Celsius. Time to plan ahead methinks!

I read an article today that states that we can all prepare for a 4 degree rise in temperatures in the future.
Scary stuff and I hope you guys get lots of rain very soon.

Beautiful captures, @papilloncharity! The second to last shot it particularly gorgeous, especially since it has two of my favorite things - sun rays through the clouds and birds.
And since I live in New England, I can totally relate to the four season sky in one day - in fact, Mark Twain famously said, "If you don't like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes."

I have seen some stunning photos of New England in the past and it must be a photographers dream.
There is about a hundred shots in my archives of sunrays through the clouds, combined with objects in flight. It always gives me a feeling of freedom!
