A short drive in the valley today!

Our fig tree was the first to bloom and here you can see its progress.

After church this morning we returned home via a detour and we travelled along a dirt road past some of the big wine farms. Thought that I would show you some of the pictures.
Let's have a look!

We stopped for coffee at a farm and here you can see the grave headstone of the original owner that died about 118 years ago.

Oh man, I just had to show you this! How I would love to have a little house with half an acre behind it, as this is exactly what I would do.

This and the next picture were sights on our way home.

Here we were approaching our destination and you can see the excellent condition of this valley!

Oh, to live far away from the noise and hustle of the city is definitely a dream come true for us. And of course the riches of nature only makes our stay here so much more pleasurable. Here one can breathe, there's no pressure and one can live a life as it's supposed to be. We are here already for almost 10 weeks now and if I have my way, here we will stay.
Yes, we still do the charity work and we still have problems to get resources to help the poor, but in a peaceful ambience like this, the stress is relieved.

That first fig photo is so pretty! With the light and the fresh green :)

@ewkaw my apologies for the late reply, but we had no steemit here! I also love their colors. Thank you and blessings Lady Ewa!

Not a problem :) I have been away the past few days too.

"Feast your eyes" my Mom would always say when driving in the countryside, those photographs are excellent shares to do just that @papilloncharity

Real fig trees, have not seen one since growing up at home!

A remedy once again from Mom, was to remove moessies (small wart like growths and warts) she would take the milk of the fig leaf or fruit when picked (white milk) and soak into some lemon rind, plaster over moessie for a few days and they fell off. Good old fashioned home remedy used.

@joanstewart almost a divine message but not quite, as I have on my right cheek. Not on my face, but on my bum! If I were to plaster it with the fig milk infused with lemon rind, I would not be able to sit for a few days methinks Lol. Blessings!

What beautiful country side! I love rolling hills and all the colors and textures of these photos are just breathtaking. Lovely!

@youhavewings thank you. The same here and this is only in our valley. There are many valleys here between the mountains and one of these days I will start to investigate wider afield! Blessings!

All the Photographs are awesome..
Nice article friend..

@tussar11 thank you my friend!
