A Trio of Papillon's (Butterflies)
No, this is not a mirror, instead it's two adult Citrus Papillon's facing each other!
A different new home, different garden and different people with different results. The one constant is the beauty of nature. Our long farm walks are no more and the peace and quiet is replaced by constant traffic sounds, but one has to always make the best of everything! Luckily we share in a heritage house with a large garden and this garden will be my home for the next 6 months.
Let me show you the butterflies!
Boom! Here we have 3 butterflies!
These two guys seemed to be practicing synch wing movements!
And finally, a little Red also came to pose for a shot!
This is life isn't it? In our world hardly any day is the same. Just as each garden has a different character, just so people also differ from each other. Nature teaches us endurance in the storms and to live in harmony, also to protect each other against predators, but there will always be the losers. A tree suffers from an external force, such as a lightning bolt and a person suffers from a fellow human's greed. No tree will deliberately damage another tree.
Makes one think doesn't it?

Gorgeous photography with the three landing so close together, perhaps they are looking for a place to lay eggs Certain plants attract certain species of butterflies into the garden with a purpose in mind.
Being an old established property you may find someone lived here at a point in time arranging plants to attract butterflies in the region, life always has purpose, have a wonderful day Stephen.
Can you believe that there is almost no history of the place Lady Joan? There was a fire and the files of ownership was burnt! All that I can find our is that one of the early magistrates lived in the heritage house next door. There's only the two heritage houses next to each other, sandwiched between two modern business properties in the whole city block. Their grounds are very big and they speak of past glories/ This house before it was divided, had 6 bedrooms, two lounges, wide brooky-laced verandah's, a massive indoor fireplace with two studies at either side of the fireplace. Really old and although worn, still beautiful! Blessings!
Not having documented history leaves everything to the imagination, must have been built with wide open spaces and grand surrounding views. Old verandah's sound delightful a lovely space to sit outside when the traffic subsides in the evenings.
