Cityscape Photography #week 030 - Montpellier at noon
Siesta
Southern Europe has some magnificent places, for instance Montpellier is a pearl to discover between the vineyards of the Languedoc. The fun part of these cities is that people over there take siestas, something we in Belgium just can't imagine doing. (Why would we, we have maximum 7 hot days in a year.) When it's siesta time, and you need to suffer the heat, but you will see the city at it's best. Barely someone in the streets, everything to it's pure Mediterranean beauty. Like this "grand" boulevard where at night the most beautiful French ladies stroll up and down with their high heels. Now, it's like a ghost town, but a nice one!
