Golden Hour: beautiful sunset over Venice Pier in Los Angeles

Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!

My today´s contribution to the Golden Hour Photography will take you to California, namely to Venice, one of the most popular seaside neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

The structure on your left hand side is the Venice Pier. Built in 1963, this iconic landmark is almost 400 m (1,300 ft) long and it is known to offer some spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, especially during the sunset :)

There were many photographers setting up their gear, waiting for the perfect shot on that evening and it actually took a bit of pacing around the beach to find a spot with no people but I think it was worth it.
