PV's Daily Log #15 - Planning day

Another update from my work and my way to become an independent photographer/freelancer.

Today - was a planning day.

Some time ago I spoke with my brother about the idea of organizingphotographic workshops together here in Norway... or maybe there - in Lofoten islands.

Lofoten are well known location for all landscape photographers and those who are watching the photos on insta, fb and other sites - this is definitely one of the most photographed places in Norway - and I totally understand why.

Lofoten is one o the best winter destination in Norway - maybe not for traditional tourists - but for all who love shooting landscapes... and hunt for Auroras. I won't describe more - every one interested can look through the pictures on net and will understand why it is so great.

What maybe You don't know yet is that all the most incredible spots are located very near each other - in a distance of 100km we will find everything - Reine, Hamnoy, Flakstad, Nusfjord, Balstad, Haukland - and many many more - beaches, villages, mountains... Dramatic and beautiful landscape is behind every corner there.

But enough of this... to the point.

So today I decided to sit a little on this project and make a pricing list, find the transportation methods, accomodation possibilities, availability of cars and more...
These all was going to be just a checking of stuff - and finally ended in making the final dates, reservation of houses, going through all the possibilities, offers and making of real offer!

I spend whole day searching the sites, mailing, organizing everything but was worth it.

So, in short version, in the beginning o March 2019we are going with a group of 9-10 people to Lofoten, 7 days of photographic workshops through all the spots and places, incuding night Aurora Borealis hunting.

After making just a short announcment - we have already 4-5 people really interested, half way :)

If some of You are laso interested - let me know and I will tell You about some details.

Anyway - despite the fact I didn't do anything with Stock Photos or other activities - organizing such a big trip was also great challenge.
I was in Lofoten once during summer time - never in winter, and simply can't wait because it is real winter wonderland.
