Petals & Visitors - An English Country Garden - Part 2
In England, we love our gardens and our flowers. We also love growing and enhancing the colours of our limited green spaces. An abundance of flowers encourages the butterflies and bees to make the most of the environment too. It's not all about English Roses!
Variety is the spice of life and colourful flowers helps lift your mood out of the slump of the hardships of humanity.
Perspective is everything. When you look at these little creatures and realise that their lifespan is a mere two weeks maximum, you may then appreciate the enjoyment of your life and surroundings. Make the most of it!
The similar looking Osteospermum, or African Daisy (below).

The intricate, delicate and cheerfull side of nature. Hope they brighten your day as much as they have mine.
GOOD LUCK
Thanks,
I needed this very badly. Would love to have that camera. Such wonderful creatures that inhabit your part of the world and take advantage of blossoms that you captured with that lens. Very nice.
Thanks man. Yeah it's been so nice here lately i thought i'd capture some of it for a post or too..
Absolutely gorgeous. Sure brightened my day. The butterflies even posed for you!
There's an old English TV show called Keeping Up Appearances. All the sisters were names after flowers. Perhaps it's because of the affection for flower gardens there? I never really thought about that until right now. I thought it was just to be cute. Funny show by the way. Oh! And another sitcom called Butterflies. Huh. I wonder.......
Haa! Yeah we love those shows over hear.. Timeless... Although our favourite is still 'Dads Army' & 'Father Ted'.
I'll be putting some more pictures up this week...
Thanks for stoppin by.
