I Did go for a walk again yes. Th etoucans are very loud for sure. They have a repetitive call and with each call they throw their heads back in quite an exaggerated way.

I would love to be hiking along the green forest route! Hope there are no poisonous snakes there!
There are so many beautiful birds everywhere here in the jungle every day - you could never imagine such numbers and such diversity of species! There are poisonous snakes yes but snakes seem to be around more after sunset I have met very few during the day though I know some are around - they are very sensitive to our footsteps - quite often I will catch one disappearing into the undergrowth out of the corner of my eye 😉🍀🌴💛🌈

Wow so cool! That has to be one of the coolest birds ever! Look at the size and colours of the beak! The eye is fascinating too:) looks like such a great place where you are staying 🌅🏝⛰
Thanks for our great comment. Toucans are the most intriguing birds. Their huge beaks look too big to fly with -it’s great to see them fly into the garden every day to eat the palm nuts. They are very nervous birds though that don’t like to be watched so I have to be quick with the camera.
