Rural Scene

Although the calendar claims that winter starts on December 21st, we often see significant snow in October. This year we have only gotten an inch or two of snow so far, and most of it is long gone. This photo of irrigation equipment looks like it could have been taken at a different time of year! While I was waiting for a train at a railroad crossing, I decided to hop out and take this picture. I didn't dawdle, because I wasn't sure how much time I had before the train was gone.
