Saturday Morning Hike with the Family

Went on a nice 2.5+ mile hike through the woods.
Went on a nice long hike with family again this morning. Even though its only 40 outside and grey and gloomy, it is still nice to get out and get in nature.
To The Top
The boys picked the shortest trail to the top - the straight up - climbing some steep rocks at times. They love the climb!!! Here is some cool rocks on the way up.

We took the long way down, It was a nice relaxing walk - even the sun came out for a little bit.
Back to the grind
We just got back, time for lunch and then to To-Do list.... It is going to be a full weekend of working hard to get ready for the winter. The projects are getting done, but I add 2 for every 1 completed!! Hope you like a few of the photos - make sure to make time to get out and spend time in nature and with your family.

Thanks - love living in an area that has some decent bluffs to hike up and take a look over the river and towns. There are nice trails all along the river towns we like to hike.
