Discovering the Allgäu - Up and along the Fellhorn, Part 3

Welcome back to the continuation of my Discovering the Allgäu- Series!
Today you invite you to follow me on the final section up the Fellhorn summit. You can check out the two previous stages ->here and ->here.
I was rather lucky with the weather conditions when I had reached the summit and thus could collect a number of decent panorama shots for you to enjoy:
Almost at the top.
The Fellhorn can be climbed also over a narrow ridge. I had choosen a longer but easier route.
The final steps up the summit.
In the back thrones the Hoher Ifen, landmark mountain of the Kleinwalsertal.
Time to descend back down the valley.
After the summit, my second highlight of the day. No better way to close a long hiking day in the mountains. 😋👌🏻

Bin begeistert von deiner Serie die heute den Aufstieg zum Fellhorn beschreibt. Wunderbare Fotos und ein toller Bericht. Wie in Deinem ersten Bericht schon beschrieben, kommentiert finde ich es ja sehr interessant dass gerade am Fellhorn die deutsch-österreichische Grenze entlang geht und wir da eine Höhe von knapp über 2000m erreichen in den Allgäuer Alpen. Ist wirklich landschaftlich eine ganz wunderbare Ecke wo ich immer begeistert bin wenn ich da Berichte oder Fotos von sehe die aus privater Hand kommen. Liebe Grüße und ein schönes Wochenende Michael

Astonishing mountain panoramas and well deserved reward at the end of the hike :) Not sure what meal it was (are these dumplings?) but the beer looks great. Need to find out more about the brand, never heard of it.
Thank you! The meal was deer goulash with bread dumplings (Rehgulasch mit Semmelknödeln). The beer is a Bavarian brand which I also haven't known before. It was good. :)
Ah, jelení guláš s knedlíkem - this meal is quite popular here in the Czech Republic too actually ;) Will be on the lookout for the beer. Until then, I will stick to these :) Cheers!

...and you were right ;) Btw just had a delicious wild boar goulash with bread dumplings today :) We love goulashes :D
