Food From Dalian

When travelling round China one will realise that the various regions around China will have their own style of cuisine and many local Chinese people will be able to identify meal origins simply by cooking style. It can be said that many of the unique styles that have evolved throughout history are a bi product of the local environment. Dalian is located in the South of China in the Liaoning Province. This city serves as a seaport for China and is very deep with its own cultural variation that one may expect when exploring China. Though standard mandarin is spoken across China, Dalian has its own unique dialect that is used by local people. People from Shandong will also use this dialect to talk with one another. One of the most unique parts about Dalian dialect is due to its incorporation of Foreign languages. In particular, there are many similar ties drawn from both Japan and Russia. This attributes to the long standing history in China and various invasions that had occurred throughout the years. Many proficient Chinese speakers will be able to distinguish the Dalian dialect upon hearing it.
