Nature of Tibet

in #photography5 years ago

Tibet is a beautiful country and regarded as an autonomous region in China. When arriving in Tibet, I found myself amazed at the beautiful scenery. The landscape of Tibet is something very picturesque and there is much to see throughout the entire area. Tibet is connected to many other countries and it borders with parts of Kashmir and Nepal. Subsequently, it’s possible to see the towering mountains of the Himalayas and some of the tallest peaks in the entire world. Such height and topography can only be observed in certain parts of the globe and I was lucky enough to have access to Tibet to see these beautiful feats of nature.

Tibet itself is split into two different regions that divides them into the lake region and the river region. As the names suggest, they are in reference to the types of hydrology that can be seen in these regions. Lakes are still volumes of water that are surrounded by land and are constantly fed by a water source. These make for serene and tranquil settings. The lakes reside very far from the ocean and have deep pockets in which water can collect. I am very fond of lakes and can enjoy days on end relaxing around the peaceful waters.

Wow beautiful description of such a majestic region of the world. I was told by vietnamese woman I met traveling in Greece that Tibet was a ‘must’ go at some point in life ... as well as Nepal and Kashmir on her list
