Gardens By the Bay Singapore Supersized Trees
My son and daughter are recent college graduates who chose to work abroad to see more of the world. Their adventures took them to Singapore where they each captured the famous Supersized trees up to 50 meters tall with a walkway connecting them. The trees are light up at night and like many night scenes in Singapore they are a beautiful site to behold.
This giant garden in the Singapore provides mesmerizing waterfront views across three gardens, spanning over 101 hectares of reclaimed land. Located next to Marina Reservoir, Gardens by the Bay offers breath-taking waterfront views. This award winning horticultural destination spans 101 hectares of reclaimed land, and is made up of two main areas—Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden.
Bay South Garden is the largest of the gardens. The design of this portion resembles Singapore's national flower, Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim. These stunning man-made trees can be found all around the Gardens, with 12 at the Supertree Grove. Measuring between 25 and 50 metres tall, Gardens by the Bay's Super trees are designed with large canopies that provide shade in the day and come alive with an exhilarating display of lights and sounds at night.
There is also a 22-metre-high OCBC Skyway which allows you enjoy panoramic vistas of the Gardens and the Marina Bay skyline.
