know that after my "get-out" of the hospital last Friday,
I was politely but firmly requested to take it physically easy
for a couple of days AND not to work for at least 2 weeks.
Being someone getting more tired doing nothing,
than working hard the whole day,
I fill my days (sofar) mostly with walks, talks and some cycling.
Last wednesday afternoon I did a nice stroll in Zeist, my hometown.
Had a meeting with a guy I'm going to do a job with soon, who lives
on the other side of town.
Halfway I came across this big Castle, called 'het Slot'.
So why not take some pics and share them with you.

Zeist now famous on the blockchain. Looks like a great place to visit, to walk arond and ride bicycle. Looking forward to more shots.
Surrounded by a lot of forest and lots of other "green" (that is: if more rain comes) it's not bad here.
For me being centrally located here in our country is an advantage.
Have my roots here. Still, wherever I lay my hat, that's my home.
One beautifull place on earth I want to visit in the future. And it looks like it is going to be full green around you, if you get about the same amount of rain as it is up north right now.
Can imagine that for your profession being centrally located is ideal. About same distance to destination anywhere.

I saw on the news you had some stormy weather there up north.
We only had some heavy rainfall here yesterday, but for an hour, at most.
Nevertheless the cooling down was very welcome.

Too much green there and i love it, this place is really beautiful and well preserved, are there fishes in the lake? looks like yes but please answer me i want to know it. Regards
As a young boy I fished there with friends. I guess there's still fish in it yes.
At least there are frogs; I saw two.
Great man because looks like a perfect place to fishing and take some snacks with friends and at the same time enjoy with that amazing view. Regards

Great pics. I hope you are getting better. There is a small pond on one of your pictures. I was actually on a great trip today. My favorite place. I took a picture of pretty similar pond as well.
That looks like a castle as well, it’s not. It’s actually hotel.
That’s where I was today .
The building of "my" castle was finished in the year 1686. Yours doesn't look that old yet.

Great pictures, definately places worth walking or cycling🙂 I know the feeling, forced to stay home and do nothing...great for a few days, and after that it starts to suck!

Die telefoons van tegenwoordig zijn bijna beter dan een echte camera ...
aha! just take the time to enjoy a bit while being off...it aint easy it you are not used to it but you gotta listen to the body every now and then (and to the doctors hahahaha)
And eat a "dropje" every now and then, hehe.
Great pictures of old castles. I know what's feeling I have after looks those captures. Whole mind seek and need to find go there soon. If not my mind will be burn. Better walking area around the pond.
