A birthday trip to Ruth Chris steakhouse turned into a very pleasant evening with perfect company and great food!
My wife was blessed with another birthday today, and wanted to go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. We have one here in the River Spirit Casino on Riverside in Tulsa Oklahoma. But they are all over the place.
I took her there, and found they make very good food! They're also pretty expensive but I think it is well worth the money. I have no affiliation with them Beyond doing my best to eat a 40 oz porterhouse steak....
The ambience is nice and the view was really good along the Arkansas River. The air conditioning was wonderful with the heat, and they valet park. The waiter was as good a waiter as I've seen anywhere, and he was very careful to take excellent care of us! Here's what it looks like inside.
All of the food was world-class and we enjoyed a very nice meal! When they found out that it was Debbie birthday, they included the birthday of Strawberry Shortcake that was pretty exceptional! They also were nice enough to take a picture of her with the Strawberry Shortcake which we got before we left.
They're definitely world class, but when you go raid your piggy bank because their food is about $100 a plate. I am not suggesting it wasn't well worth it though, excellent porterhouse!
So if you decide to treat your sweetie this is a good place to do it.

It was a Very nice dinner, she really enjoyed it! I am going to have to take her there again sometime....
Closest to you is Hawaii and Tokyo, long trip for you I'm afraid!

You are in winter there, how cold does it get? Do you run on a well, rain catchment, or city water?
Can you hunt there?
I will be 25 miles from downtown Tulsa, so not quite as bad, LOL! But still far enough to be safe. We will add a well, and use some rain catchment too.
We can hunt, and the largest game here is white tailed deer. I have a herd of five eating my plants right now, LOL!
But no Roos.... :'(
Yes the distance could be a benefit if things get crazy. Yes winter and we are having temps from around 0-2°c at night and from 7-15°c max day temps. I have town water though use my rain water tank for most of my water needs.

Wise to use the renewable first, as a minimum it saves cash!
We use Fahrenheit so I have to convert, but 59F seems cool to me (it was 96F today) or 35.5C. But I keep forgetting that you are in winter now, Sorry! I wish I could send you heat, and you could send me cold, LOL!
I plan to use rainwater for my aquaponics system and greenhouse.

It was a steak for two, but two can't eat it either. If I ate nothing else, I could eat the 40 oz steak....

It was perfect, and we had four meals from it, plus a little to our starving Dachshunds, LOL! Expensive, but nice, we will go there again sometime.

She bought a steakhouse in New Orleans called "Chris" steakhouse. They have some rule there that a buyout can't have the same name, so she added her name, which was the common way down there.
That was for two, they are a little high for every day eating, LOL! But the food was Excellent....
