Robins roving around grassy area
For the longest time I got these birds confused with Cardinals, though now I think I have it straightened out in my head. Remembering the baseball team helps me differentiate between the two, as they look pretty different. But I would get the two switched up in my head.
These birds are roving the grass for bugs coming up from the earth. Due to recent rains the bugs homes are flooded and coming to the surface to wait for it to dry out, the Robins are looking for those bugs.

Robins seem to work together to find bugs, I like how they run around looking for opportunities to find fresh food. They have this special run to them, where they run and stop and then run some more and stop.. Sticking their head up high to get a better view I guess.
Many of them found bugs, seeing them pull stringy things from the ground makes me think they find worms a lot.
They pause and look around and then run to their next spot. Their dexterity on their feet is quite impressive.
Looking under leaves is another good place to find bugs, seems the birds are aware of this and searching under the leaf litter.
