Some photos from Pavlovsk
Today I want to show a few photos taken during a walk in Pavlovsk. Pavlovsk is a small town located about 25 kilometers south of St. Petersburg. Pavlovsk is famous for the Great Palace built for Emperor Paul I of Russia, a very picturesque park is spread around the palace.
The top photo shows the Fort Bip, it has recently been restored.
Valley of the Slavyanka River:
This wonderful golden retriever is called Larry. Larry is very sociable, the owner often had to call on a dog who wanted to get to know everyone.
It is convenient to get to Pavlovsk by suburban electric train. The main entrance to the park is located opposite the station.
