A Cute Fountain in Šiauliai (Lithuania)
Tonight I'm uploading this photo, just to test the waters, so to speak. I have been experiencing some difficulties today. Many votes failed, using Steem Connect to login at Busy, eSteem and SteemPeak also failed. I suspect that some Witnesses already running the HF 21 and that might be causing some problems.
This photo was taken in Šiauliai, in Lithuania, a city that isn't very big... but also not too small. It's a place I'd like to revisit someday. It brings back good memories.
This fountain is located right in front of a big hotel, in a quiet part of the town. Starting at this place, there's a pedonal area where you'll find a small path leading to the peaceful lake Talkša.
On my next post I'll show you a bit more of this picturesque town, not very known to tourists.
However, many students go there to study for a semester or a year, through the Erasmus program. So you can expect to find some animation, for sure. Stay tuned for my next post.

very interesting fountain.
Thank you very much!
I just love fountains - this is a pretty one too :)
Thanks a lot. I'm glad to hear that.
Why is the fountain not turned on?
Posted using Partiko iOS
Probably to save water.
Thanks for your visit.

Are those seal sculptures?
Must look cool when the fountain is turned on.

Seals... or maybe dolphins. Yes, it must be. In Europe it's becoming normal for these fountains to be turned off for most of the year, in order to save water. They are usually turned on in the tourist season.
