Challenge of Photography 摄影的挑战

The world has changed tremendously with the invention of smartphones. A smartphone is not only used for communication, but also for other purposes as well. Today, one of the reasons of owning a smartphone for many people is for photography. To the non-professional photographers, the camera of a smartphone is good enough for taking photos. However, the accessibility of smartphone camera has resulted certain trends.

First, it has helped taking photos conveniently. Taking photos is so convenient that people can almost do it at anytime. When many photos are taken, consequently there are a large number of unattended photographs.

Secondly, it can help enhance connectivity. People do not only take photos, but they also post photos to social media such as the Instagram, Facebook, Steemit etc. This has become an aid for communication. This includes also the photos have been edited and heavily modified, which may easily lead to distorted perspective on what has or hasn’t taken place.

Indeed, the phenomena related to photo-taking nowadays have post a challenge to those really serious doing photography. They have to be able to produce and present uniquely better photos. If their photos are unique and better than the rest of the photos, people will appreciate and cherish them.
