Autumn in Sofia

I have never before loved autumn: chilly, dirty, overcast and raining, raining, raining ... And when I moved to Bulgaria, I fell in love. Autumn in Sofia is very beautiful. In September, it is warm as in summer, sometimes daytime temperatures reach + 30C. It is a pity this year is not the same as the last ten years - now we have a few rainy and cold days, but the sun has returned. Because Sofia is a very sunny city. There is no bad weather here :-) More precisely, it does not linger here.

What is nice Sofia in September and October:

• usually still very warm and you can walk in summer clothes;
• always dry and clean, you can wear light or suede shoes;
• very sunny - the autumn sun gives some special soft cozy light and beautiful photos are obtained;
• the very season of fruits and vegetables is coming - the range is huge, and the prices are very low, I do not want to eat;
• it can be quite hot during the day and fresh in the evening, so you can wear clothes from shorts to coats, and in the evening in street cafes, light heaters and hand out rugs - very nice and beautiful.

This is a house on Oborishte Street in one of the old central districts of Sofia.

In general, restaurant tables on the streets of Sofia can stand before the first snow, and sometimes all winter. Not everyone, of course, but there is such a fashion: to sit all year round in the “hail”.

At the beginning of September, Sofia has its own peculiarity: Sofia residents went on vacation, students have not arrived yet, and the city seems half empty. At the same time, there are shops and cafes, and restaurants, but they don’t have a crush, and it seems that this is all just for you)

In general, thanks to Sophia, I stopped being afraid of autumn.
