Turkish restaurant "T & M" in Sofia

Greetings from Bulgaria to tourists and guests of the Bulgarian capital, who, suddenly, wanted Turkish food, and was too lazy to go to Istanbul.

The restaurant is called “T & M” and is located in the very center of Sofia on 34 Yury Venelin Street. Of course, there are other Turkish restaurants in Sofia, but this one is considered the most Turkish! The fact is that Turkish ambassadors and consuls go there for lunch and dinner, and the restaurant itself stands behind the Turkish embassy. And he is considered the oldest, because he has worked in Bulgaria since 2000.

Restaurant "T & M" is located in the old Sofia mansion and according to the law of the genre has a covered courtyard, where until late autumn smokers sit.

We were in this place in the middle of October and it was still quite warm on the street, so we also sat in the “gradinka”.

Inside, the dining rooms are much nicer - decorated with Turkish dishes and fancy flashlights, but it was dark and the photos did not work out.

In the "T & M" are not only large and tasty portions - they are also very affordable, I would say that it is quite cheap here.

For example, a set of kebabs has a price of 6.61 euros per 350 grams.

Prices in the menu are in BGN. The lion is firmly tied to the euro. 1 euro equals 1.95 lv

Its Turkish beer "Efes" is served here for 1.50 euros (300 ml).

Also here offer Turkish tea, Turkish coffee and hookah, which is called "nargile".

We ate and drank deliciously and with pleasure, remained pleasantly impressed by the staff and even forgot how much we paid because it was very small.
