Varna, kk "St.St. Konstantin and Elena", restaurant "Ivanchov Khan"

In December, we gave ourselves a Christmas holiday and went to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. On the north coast, near Varna there is a balneological resort "Saints Constantine and Helena". This is the oldest Bulgarian resort, it used to be called "Friendship". In principle, he looks like the very old friendship :-) Very battered. Therefore, I did not expect to find a decent restaurant there. However, he is there. One for the whole resort. In the sense of restaurants there are many, but this one is one: beautiful, colorful, tasty, cheerful and full to the eyeballs. The fact is that in the off-season, only three restaurants work at the resort and one of them is our hero: "Ivanchov Khan". The name is not just that - the restaurant is considered to be revival, because the building and the interior are made in the style of the Bulgarian Renaissance. This is a very beautiful and cozy national flavor.

We spent the evening here and were very pleased. So happy that they even forgot to take photos for reporting. Therefore, I share what happened.

The Renaissance restaurant "Ivanchov Khan" is located seven kilometers from the city of Varna at the resort complex "St. Constantine and Elena", it has been working there for several years now - I have been here before. Next to the restaurant is their own motel, behind which there is a swimming pool with thermal water - their own pool. Since the motel and restaurant are on the Varna highway and have excellent parking - they are always in demand. The prices here are adequate, the service is lightning fast, and even in all languages. In the restaurant after 9 pm live music is played. As for the kitchen, then fresh and tastier at this time of the year on the coast I have never eaten.

We ordered seafood and I really enjoyed it. Everything was delicious, fresh, perfectly washed and plenty. The portions are very good. To understand the order of prices, here is a photo of the menu. Prices in BGN. One euro equals 1.95 leva.

The restaurant is heated by fireplaces, the ceilings are very high and there are tables on the mezzanine. As a result, the room is not stuffy and not cold. The waiters, the guys in the long aprons are very smart. You can pay cash cashless, as convenient.

We sat downstairs, listened to the music and watched how the Bulgarians were dancing "good". I can not :-)

We ordered kyopoolu, king prawns, salad with shrimps and red fish (7.40 lev), snezhanka salad, stewed mussels (8.80 lev), dust (tasty Bulgarian bread), cream caramel (3.60 lev), homemade ice cream (melba), cappuccino, hot chocolate and a lot of Bacardi rum. We had a family holiday :-) As a result, for four people we paid 71 euros in terms of levs. This is not considered to be small by Bulgarian standards, but it is normal for a holiday resort.

The restaurant is open every day from 12.00 until the morning.
