Aha, lovely photos. Can one take bath in that?
We also have many hot water springs in Himalayan range. Here in India we believe that bath in the hot water spring can heel you from skin disease.

Further down, yes. In the public bath house, the water is 104F.
Right here, it would burn you.

Hahah...we need to cool down already burning 😉

Yes, very natural - to the point that they move from time to time.

Thank you very much.

What amazes me is how green it is, despite the heat. Great pictures. Thankfully the pictures come with no smell...haha.

Yes, it's an amazing color! Next time (maybe tomorrow), I'll share the pictures further away from the actual spring - the color is very different. All amazing though.
And yeah, no smell is great!

Say a prayer because that is a holy place that the Native Americans would go to for the healing of the sick and to help ease the pain of the elders

You could definitely feel that it was hallowed ground - even now, it is respected with awe for nature.

Those pictures are amazing - tx for this interesting post :)

Thank you! It's such a beautiful place. Lots of interesting things to take pictures of too.

How beautiful! I've been to the hot springs in Yellowstone Park, and they are also gorgeous. You got some great shots. I love the green mineral deposits. They do look like slime, but how cool!

Yeah, the green gets me too. I don't know what makes it green - or why it's much lighter further away... (next set of pictures for that one.)

And yeah, it really does look like slime! I looked at it really closely (as much as I could stand, anyway) to realize it was just deposits.

I distinctly remember the smell! It's like nothing else!
