Lilac is one of my favorite flowers. Great combination of beauty and fragrance. This time most of the bushes bloomed in mid-May.

Сирень – один из моих любимейших цветов. Великолепное сочетание красоты и аромата. В этот раз большинство кустов зацвели в середине мая.

Near my porch grow lilac bushes. Here is the view from the balcony on May 13th.

Около моего подъезда растут кусты сирени. Вот так выглядел вид с балкона 13 мая.

Always waiting for the start of flowering. This year, took a picture of how it all began. April 26 is just an emerging bud, from which lilac splendor will emerge.

Всегда жду начала цветения. В этом году сфотографировала, как всё начиналась. 26 апреля - только-только намечающийся бутон, из которого появится сиреневое великолепие.

May 3 Flowers have not yet opened.

3 мая. Цветы ещё не раскрылись.

And on May 14th. Particularly luxurious tops look bushes.

И вот 14 мая. Особенно роскошно выглядят верхушки кустов.

There are many varieties of lilac. In our town, I think, you will not see much diversity. But still I found several different colors of lilac here. White flowers.

Сортов сирени существует очень много. У нас в городе, мне кажется, особого разнообразия не увидишь. Но всё же несколько разных цветов сирени я нашла и у нас. Белые цветы.

Shades of lilac. Especially noticeable when it growing nearby. More pink.

Оттенки сиреневого. Особенно заметны, когда растут рядом. Более розовый.

More blue.

Более голубой.

And here is clearly varietal lilac with double flowers. Now, it seems, all varieties finished bloom. But May is very pleased me.

А вот и явно сортовая сирень с махровыми цветами. Сейчас уже, кажется, все сорта отцвели. Но май очень порадовал.
