Pixabay Curation Magazine // Amazing Cryptocurrency-related Photographs by WorldSpectrum & MichaelWuensch // Issue 1
For this first issue of Pixabay Curation Magazine, we're going to take a closer look at some crypto-related images that have been released on Pixabay in the public domain. Pixabay has a small selection of high quality images that are related to cryptocurrency. The photographs of Pixabay users WorldSpectrum & MichaelWuensch are among my absolute favorite photographs that feature physical cryptocurrency. Which is why they're the first Pixabay artists to be featured in this curation magazine.
Artists featured in this magazine will receive a donation equal to the Steem Dollar portion of the post rewards after 7 days. You can find out more about this initiative by reading the introduction post.
The reason why I chose these two pictures from Worldspectrum, is because they feature an excellent composition and can easily be used as a featured images for articles. His other work, which can be seen on Pixabay, has some rather unique concepts. I'm definitely a fan of the out-of-the-box thinking he displays when putting together his compositions.
Worldspectrum's creations have been downloaded more than 30.000 times, while he's only been a member of Pixabay for 4 months. He mentions specifically on his profile that he appreciates donations, so let's make that happen!
MichaelWuensch doesn't focus primarily on creating cryptocurrency-related images, but has added a couple of professional photographs of physical Bitcoins. I'm a really big fan of all of his photographs, you can clearly see that there's a lot of thought behind them. Hopefully he might be encouraged to add some more pictures that are related to Bitcoin or Alt coins, after receiving some support from the Steemit community.
The image above has been downloaded over 70.000 times and it's featured on many Bitcoin news websites. It has also received Pixabay's Editor's Choice award. MichaelWuensch joined Pixabay in early 2017 and his photographs have been downloaded over 90.000 times in total.
Hey @daan! The new series looks like it's off to a solid start. I hadn't even realized that individual photographers had their own profiles on Pixabay. Guess I just never took the time to look into that, but your post has taught me something valuable. Perhaps you can add a brief section in each post which educates the readers (like me) about the various features of Pixabay. There are probably some people out there, like myself, who haven't had the time/energy to educate themselves on this, and you would be doing the entire community a service by providing this. It's just an idea. As I mention in the comments section of the intro post, I hope to upvote as many of the posts in this series as I come across on SteemFollower. Keep up the good work...
Great idea, I'll add that idea to my todo list :) It's getting quite full already though.
Thats such a cool series of images some real creative editing
Good initiative, do those artists know you are doing this?
I will send them a message tomorrow, also to ask whether they receive donations in cryptocurrency. Would save a lot on fees if I don't have to convert to Paypal :P
So they are totally unaware of what you are doing? It will be a nice surprise if so.
Yeah, I'll only send them a link to the article when I make the donation.
Very nice! I love the Litecoin pictures. Great work highlighting these fantastic artists! You have my support!
Yeah these artists just had the best quality pictures. Maybe I'll leave them a suggestion to create a Steem related image, when I send the donation :)
For sure! Steem or EOS!
This is really really a fantastic thing @daan! And the images are gorgeous!
MichaelWuensch Is the man and @daan is the awesome man 😀
Nice one man!

If I say I'm not glad to take cognizance about this photos for cryptocurrency post, I'd be a liar.
