Pixabay Curation Magazine // Animal Photography by hettyvanderzanden & Lolame // Issue 4
My vacation in France has come to an end, so it was about time for a new issue of Pixabay Curation Magazine. We've received some very positive responses from some of the artists we've featured. The other week I got an e-mail from Tama66, thanking us for the donation. These positive reactions really increase my motivation for writing these.
This week, we're going to take a look at some stunning animal photography. One of the artists featured is no one other than fellow Steemit member @hetty-rowan, who is also active on Pixabay.

I'm really fond of both images presented here, the first one could go right on the cover of a magazine. The second picture's composition creates a neat looking effect with the fogginess in the background. While the first one is definitely on the cuter side, the other one has a more natural feel to it.
Hetty has been a member of Pixabay for about 6 months. She had mentioned to me that she had never received any donations there, even though her pictures have been downloaded over 6000 times. She's very passionate about photography and you should definitely also check out her Steem profile @hetty-rowan.
Since we've already featured two pictures of dogs, we couldn't leave the cat lovers out there hanging. This first picture is a beautiful black cat with some interesting looking eyes. I picked that one because it looks very professional and I could see a lot of uses for a photograph like that. Now the second one has no effects or editing done to it, but I find it a very funny picture. I'm not completely sure what it is, a prairie dog perhaps, but I think this would mke for some interesting photoshop material.
Lolame has been a long time member of Pixabay, having joined back in 2013. Since then they have posted 325 public domain images and they have been downloaded over 70.000 times. Most of the pictures made by this artist have a natural theme going on, check out their Pixabay profile.

Beautiful photography and yes people very seldom ever ask permission to use photo's or send donations @daan sadly this has been happening for a long time.
