Hi, Steemheads!

I'll be doing some significant changes to my games. I thought I'd let everyone be aware of the changes before I implement them. I have had my games for a long time now, in fact, Guess the Color Game has been running for over a year and Steem Proof Game will have its anniversary this October 2019.

I have grown my account with these games and I am grateful to everyone who support it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. I enjoy sharing some Steems with you all. For a long time, I thought this was the best way I can help my fellow redfishes in Steemit, using the power of the community for the community.

Lately, I had the opportunity to do even more and that is to launch a token for the small fishes in Steemit, I launched the Plankton Token. Without a huge amount of SP for myself, and without whale support and being a newbie in running a token and an entire economy, it is difficult to give value to a token. But so far, together with the community we have amped PLKN from a value of 0.25 to 0.36 Steems per token, today.

Now, I have more future plans for the token and the PLKN community as a whole and I need all the support I can get and I need to maximize all the resources I have to support it. My @mermaidvampire account has been growing but it is growing so slow because of the games. Now I do not want to end my games but I will have to make changes to make sure I can grow even faster and help the Plankton project with my main account. Also, I want to correct some lapses with my designs of the game and make it even more fair and better.

New Guess The Color Game Rules:

I have had a lot of complaints about my Guess the Color Game being raped by bots and how they want me to address it. At first, I thought I should just give prizes to accounts who have posts within 7 days and have at least 5 comments. I think that should identify the bots and non-bots but it will be a chore for me to check 50 accounts on average each day if they are bots or not. Even if I use a bot, that would still be complicated and I will need to pay for coders and a server and stuff like that. I honestly do not earn much from this game because I give prizes to all participants but I don't want to end this because this is my very first game here. I was the first to do this game and use the no losers prize scheme. I have seen different versions of it all over Steem and other platforms but it's evident on the number of days that I made it first here.

I want this to stay, so I decided, I will have to set a fixed consolation prize to 0.003 Steems for less than 50 participants. As the number of heads go up, it will decrement by 0.001 for every 50 more heads. Winners prize would be 1/4 of the payout. Another quarter goes to PLKN fund and all that's left will go to the @mermaidvampire account.

About addressing the bot issue, I cannot specifically tell which are bots just by checking if they post within the week because we have friends who cannot post within the week but they join my game and they are not necessarily bots, some of them are Venezuelan's affected by the crisis but they support my game. The game will continue to have no barriers to entry and only needs proof of brain by a comment of a color. I actually spend time with this game that's the reason I cannot post results daily because it takes some time to do it. Now, I cannot make it even more complicated because it means I will have to spend more time with it and it will be counterproductive knowing this game barely makes something. As much as I only want to give to people rather than farming bots, this has to stay like this for now.

New Steem Proof Game Rules:

Now, I definitely want to have this game going, too. However, I want to stress out that I want to be a good Steemian. I do not want to promote bad steeming habits, that is why this game was made with good rules. However, people are not fond of reading rules nor follow them. I want to reiterate that this game has a 50-word requirement and has a 24-hour time frame for entry submission. I used to just let it go and consider late entries but it really did not make it feel right. There are no changes of rules for this game, I am just calling everyone to observe the instructions and I will no longer give anything to people who do not follow them for obvious reasons. Why would I make rules and allow people to violate and still get something from me? I'd rather use the money to fund the Plankton Token than tolerate and enable non-observance of rules.

All new changes will be applied immediately!

Now all these changes are done to benefit a better project called Plankton Token. I really hope you still support my games so we can help many small fishes in Steemit through the Plankton Token. I need the @mermaidvampire to grow faster than it used to to be able to help curate and give blood to the PLKN economy. This simply works by "from the community to the community mechanism", so we need all the support we can have from Steemians like all of you.
