As far as the epigenetics, my research into the current medical world has taught me not to go to the doctor. They can't even handle someone who has a cold. Not exaggerating. Some of the doctors I follow like to say that "we're in the dark ages of medicine."
In other words, even if we could do something good with this knowledge, there's simply no financial interest in that. It's not a sexy enough business model to tell people to "take more vitamin C, stop eating sugar and your cancer will be in regression tomorrow."
Vitamin C is too cheap and available. Sugar keeps people addicted to wasting money on trash food, and going to the doctor because the wind blew sideways and crashed their immune system.
