This is how I try to monetize my show without begging for donations. It is the only ethical way for me to make money so I can afford to make upgrads to my equipment. Yes I have a regular job. but I would like to do my show full time.
I'm not attacking your actions, mate. Everyone is free to do what they want...
I was questioning the policy of informationwars, is all..
Not to mention bringing a new user to the fold of #informationwar who I feel might have something to contribute is an important part of my duties as a curator. I have done it for far less effort both to encourage contribution and increase exposure which benefits all the contributors.
Now that I have a chance to listen to it I'm quite enjoying the podcast.
It is in everyone's interest to support new users if we value the time we spend on steemit.
I would recommend to the author that he write a better more in-depth description of his podcast including who your interviewing.

The socialists are in league with the corporatists to turn this country into a people-farm. That was the case with Clinton, the Bushes, and Obama. They were all in the pockets of the lobbyists and large corporations. This is why there is so much venom against populists like Trump, Reagan, and Kennedy. It is disgusting.
I think she is great, hopefully she empowers all the other Democrats to say openly what they really want so that they all lose.

I encourage you to use the #informationwar tag and dress up your posts a bit more with pictures and write a better more in-depth description of his podcast including who your interviewing.

If this is actually the narrator of the radio show, I strongly recommend you begin your next podcast with your personal narration, and work the advertisement for your show in later. I nearly gave up on it as it appeared to be nothing more than an ad at first. Starting with your actual voice and views would have made my first exposure to your work much easier.
I note that others seem to have not made it past the ad.
Give it thought at least.
Yes I am the content creator. It is a 30 second commercial in the beginning followed by my entrance theme. I don't ask for donations and I am trying to make a living off of my show so I can do it more often as I do work a normal job to support myself. The ONE ad is to help pay bills. I am sorry if it annoyed you.
I didn't say it annoyed me. Your assumptions do however.
What I did say was that starting with your own narration, and working the ad in later would prevent the problem that @lucylin was kept from listening by. I doubt his experience was singular, and suspect a lot of people that first are hit by the ad when seeking your work assume as he did that it was nothing more than advertising.
You should read more carefully, and think more clearly. Flagging me for making a recommendation, assuming I was against your monetizing your content, and failing to note that I didn't flag your post are all evidence that I have wasted my time on someone incapable of improving over what they are presently doing.
That gives me a sad.
