POEM: VITAL YET INVISIBLE

We bumble about
thinking our efforts are not misplaced,
time lets us look and laugh

The figure of fragments
stories we lift up and live
inside together

We all laugh
and know a Siamese struggle
tugs us all

Above, us our spirits
kindle thought pictures

Below us, the earth
prepares a perfect mixture

Beside us is a home
perfect in imperfection

We laugh again
and know we are home in thought
word, deed, and comprehension
